Yes, there is a registration fee for each ladder you compete in, and for each tournament in which you qualify and compete. The fees help cover administrative costs and prizes for top players.
If you can't play a scheduled match, it's important to inform your opponent as soon as possible. Rescheduling is usually possible, but failure to communicate may result in a default loss.
There are several ways to schedule a match. One, propose a match for the date/time/location of your choice and an email will be sent to all the players in your ladder. You will receive an email when it is accepted. Two, accept a proposal by another player. Three, you can initiate a challenge directly to any player on your ladder. Play as often, whenever, and wherever you want, just work it out with your fellow players!
